Help with the On-Stage
Entertainment!
You may help contribute something for the on-stage
entertainment program at the end of the march, which will be at the Arts Council

Help Create Signs and
Banners for the March!
You can team-up with a group to design, paint and decorate
a few light-weight banners to carry during the march. You can be as simple or as
creative as you like -- use posterboard, bed sheets, spray paint, magic markers, glitter,
rope, etc. Just keep it light-weight! Our theme this year is very broad,
allowing for messages about peace, unity, harmony, justice, open dialogue, teamwork and
the like. |

Help Bring Others to the
March!
You can collaborate with your church, school or other group
to organize a "field trip" to Gainesville for the date of the march. You
could help organize a van trip or just a simple car pool. |

Help with Donations!
We welcome monetary donations (small and large) to help
cover the cost of the equipment, photocopying and facility rentals. T-shirt
sponsorships and donations of fruits and bottled water are welcome, too. We will
also need activities for the children, such as clowns and face painting. For more
details please contact us or you can mail your donation. |

Most Importantly: Come to
the March!
The best way to participate is by coming to Gainesville on
Saturday, October 28 and joining us as we march in celebration of the many positive
accomplishment we have made as a community! Celebrate peace, justice and harmony --
and then join us at the Arts Council Depot for the post-parade gathering, lots of fun and
plenty of entertainment! |
